What is Paige Cognetti's platform on corruption and ethics reform?

Fighting corruption is the defining thread of Paige Cognetti's entire public service career. She ran for mayor as an Independent to replace a Democratic incumbent who went to federal prison. She worked with the Pennsylvania Auditor General to expose corruption and waste on the Scranton School Board, challenging her own party. As mayor, she eliminated cash payments, set up a whistleblower hotline, rooted out nepotism, and refused a city car and a gas card.

For Congress, she proposes a ban on stock trading by members of Congress, rejects all corporate PAC money, and supports opening primary elections to voters outside party registration. She argues that the same anticorruption approach that rebuilt trust in Scranton can help rebuild trust in Washington.
